" I am delighted at the links that have begun to develop between Myton and Warwick Schools in the field of Science. The involvement of our most talented Sixth Form students in the range of activities is an exciting opportunity, extending horizons beyond the demands of 'A' Level studies. The link is having an impact on the scientific understanding of students by allowing participation in cutting-edge research. Beyond that, a wider number of students are having to develop a high level of scientific literacy and organisational skills through their involvement with N-Lighten and the Showcase Science 2005 conference. Having already created a connection between the schools that did not exist before, I look forward to continuing working together on activities of mutual benefit in the future." |
